The first thing you should take note of concerning the wedding in Eden is the fact that it was God who declared:
"... It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him" (Genesis 2:18 KJV).
Yes, this declaration is still true today. It is not good for a person to be alone.
Loneliness is an incureable disease to the modern society.
However, God planned from the beginning a solution to solitude.
Thus God initiated marriage. He planned and carried out his plan by conducting the first wedding in Eden.
In God’s plan, marriage is to be the foundation of human family. It is to be a model of Godly fellowship, friendship and association on earth.
God’s perfect plan was never intended for Adam and his wife alone but for all generation of human beings.
Lesson For You
Therefore, this plan is for you also. God would not want you lonely and helpless.
So He wants you to be wedded and to rear your children in God centered family and according to His plan and purpose
I know you maybe worried as you pray and look constantly for the right partner.
The good news is you don’t need to be miserable or enter into Satan’s trap if you have not meet the one that your heart is seeking for.
You can be sure with a little patience God will bring you, the bone of your bones and the flesh of your flesh.
While waiting for your partner, I encourage you to start planning your wedding!

Let me remind you of God’s Provisions in Eden Garden…
In Eden Garden God provided everything that Adam needed.
This proves how much God loved Adam.
He gave Adam:
1. A place to live….Genesis 2:8
2. Work to do……Genesis 2:15
3. Instructions on how to live long…….Genesis 2:16-17
4. A wife ……..Genesis 2:21-22
God cares for you. That is why I am so sure He’s getting your partner
closer to you every moment. God knows what you need. He knows what will make you fruitful and happy.
You are assured God is eager to supply all your needs.- Philippians 4:19
WEDDING IN EDEN
There were many reasons for the first wedding that took place in Eden:
• It is not good for man to be alone
• God wants to give man a helper
• For future Generation because of the ceremony - a man shall leave his father and mother and be united to his wife so that the two will become one flesh. Genesis 2:24
God saw the animal and considered them as unsuitable for this kind of helper, fellowship or association in partnership he planned for Adam.
Wedding in Eden wasn't conducted between a person and a beast.
It was not between two men or between two women.
A man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife.
God’s acceptable marriage is only for one man and one woman.
God celebrated wedding in Eden as the ultimate solution to loneliness.
He established the role of a woman which is to be a suitable helper and partner to her husband.
It should be your way to perfection.
When united this way in fellowship, the man and his wife stand on a better platform for success and well being.
