What is True Beauty?

True Beauty is that which comes from your heart.

Young ladies love fine texture. Yet the reputation of a young lady is of the most delicate texture. It requires no open acts of wickedness to stain its brightness, and cast suspicion on its purity.

There are certain things that could bring into question your character. This may be to your injury even when no evil is done. You may not intend to do bad thing but watch out for and avoid things like:

• Reckless language, Colossians 4:6

• Careless manner, 1 Peter 3:2-4

• Bad posture, 1 Thessalonians 5:22

• Lack of discrimination in regard to friends and associates.
Proverbs 13:20

You are warned. A single word spoken at random without any slightest intension of wrong may cast a big shadow on your character and stain your reputation. This may take many years of hard work to remake your image.

Therefore as you watch your character, you must watch every word that you utter. Take careful thought of every action or every deed you wish to perform.

Weigh all your words and actions and see to it that they help build your character and promote your good reputation.

Live your life tactfully. Be careful not only to avoid evil itself, but everything which has even the appearance of evil.

Paul admonition should be your guide in life:

“Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

1Thessalonians 5:22

You may not be fully aware of what will give you a good name. You may not know what will be your greatest charm and attraction.

You may imagine it is your beautiful dress. Or the latest fashion of this world.

You may think a few attainments would make you interesting and attractive. Or you feel this is how to build your desired reputation. Or how to seduce and attract the opposite sex.

This is a great mistake.

These qualities are good. Yet the charm contain in them are very shallow, uncertain and sometimes worthless. You can never depend on them.

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5
