The Garden of Eden Study

The Garden Of Eden

This is another page on Eden Garden Bible Topics.

On this page you will discover:

  • How should the characteristics of Eden influence you?

  • Why is Eden a Place for Creative Purpose?

  • What are your creative Tools?

  • Why Adam named the animals?

The Garden of Eden Study

Throughout the Bible, a Garden is associated with Kings. It is a place where kings keep their valuables.

The Garden of Eden study shows the characteristics of the Bible Garden.

Take note of the natural setting of the beautiful Garden.

These characteristics show the privileges and great benefits the people in Eden enjoyed.

They are also God’s provisions for you.

The great lesson is that you are valuable to God.

Therefore, He is willing to secure you, give you peace of mind and provide for all your needs.

Eden is A Secured Place

Ezekiel 36:35 shows that Eden Garden was fenced in and inhabited. It was therefore an orderly place. Eden well-fenced was a very secure place to live in.

It offered maximum protection for the inhabitants.

It was a fertile and fruitful garden of God, a ‘fenced–in city’ of safety and protection for every person and living things inside it.

Every fenced city has a boundary, so Eden had its limits.

Thus in the Garden, there was control and orderly living. People must enter into it and leave it through the main gate according to the order of the King and at appointed times.

This calls for discipline from you who want to live your life with God.

Eden – a Place for the Creative Process

The people in Eden were placed there for a purpose. They were to dress and keep the Garden. Genesis 2: 15

They were offered the opportunity to “participate in the creative process.”

They were God’s partners in the process of creation.

So on earth, you need to be an active partner of God to bring about or create all your heart’s desires.

Eden - a Place for Creative Tools

To be able to participate in the process of creation, God gave people creative tools in Eden.

They could look into the future through their imagination.

They also had the ability to recollect the past through their memory, and to see and feel the present using their five senses.

The Bible teaches that YOU could actually create your future with the tool of imagination, which is the “eye” of your Soul.

It teaches that your thought and thinking process is another instrument of change.

Therefore, it is whatever you visualize that you realize and you become what you think you are.

Why Adam Gave Name To All Things

To confirm his partnership in the creative process with God, Adam was given the responsibility to name all things that God created.

You are informed that whatever Adam “called each living creature, that was its name..” Genesis 2:19-20.

This shows that what you say is what you get.

By the words you give them, you are also naming each of your situations and conditions. What you “say” or “declare” with your tongue about your personal well-being is what you will end up with.

Lessons:

1. You are valuable to God, He willing to supply all your needs

2. What you call your spouse, and children, co-worker, or neighbor is what they become to you.

3. You have three main creative tools to bring about your heart’s desire. They are your:

a. imagination or thought

b. Your Words – use of your tongue

c. And your ACTION
