Seek Favor

You should seek favor. The youth often live through imagination. You are to plan to live in the future. Try to see the unknown heights and imagine the fortunes and favor awaiting you.

What opportunity can you see coming your way tomorrow? Let it spark your hope, give your expectation a new zeal and anticipate the approach of years yet to come.

However, you need good judgment. The word of God you have been told many times is the right judge. Order therefore your life with it and your end shall be joy and peace.

Therefore, you should allow your anticipations of the future to be controlled by the Bible. You need moderation or temperance in all things.

You should also learn from the experience of those who have gone through the same way before you.

In all your zeal and excitement for your future, one main question should stand out as your guide. That is related to your life purpose. What is your big goal in life?

Are you concern with what you want to become in your old age? Have you consider where you want to belong in the society? Do you find time to contemplate what position do you want to occupy within your community?

What do you want your reputation to be like within your group of friends?

Here is the advice of a wise king:

“He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.” Proverbs 11:27

From this point on, decide that you will seek favor and not mischief. Determine that you will seek the respect of the wise people in your community.

And find out how to attract people to your self and not repel them.

Seek to unify people and not separate friends. There are people who are vibrant and alive. The Bible refers to them as quick. There are people whose deeds and actions are “dead” works of darkness.

Take your cue from the quick. Make the noble and the perfect your friends.
