Guide in Life

When you follow the Bible as guide in life, sooner or later you will become well known.

"Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer." Psalms 17:4

Your good works would testify of you. You will win a good reputation for being well-informed, hardworking, temperate, and morally upright.

With the Bible as guide in life, you cannot fail to obtain the good opinion and the confidence of your entire community.

You will have friends on every side. People will take pleasure in encouraging and assisting you.

The wise and good will bestow their commendation upon you. And parents will point to you as an example for their children to imitate.

You will be blessed with health, such that you cannot fail to find success and permanent happiness.

On the other hand, without a guide in life you are certainly hedge out of the way to success and prosperity when you are:

• Young and ignorant or indolent.
• Neglectful of business practice or dishonest.
• You are given to intemperance
• Disposed to visit places of debauchery
• Associate with bad companions

Tell me what are your prospects like when you are with either one or more of these evil qualifications. For sure you are disqualified from the way to success.

You cannot hide your bad habits and inclinations from people for too long.

When your bad habits are discovered, it happens that people will not put trust in you. They wouldn’t encourage you.

It becomes more difficult to secure employment. No one would make you responsible in his or her business. And no one would be willing to assist you in your personal business.

This is certainly not the way that could lead you to success.
