Special Group Bible Study

Group Study

A Group Bible Study is essential. It is still one of the best ways to promote. It is also a place to practice what you know.

There are Bible Topics that are of interest to a specific group. Such topics are better when you study with like minded people who are member of the group.

You will find groups for: Mom, Men, Youth, Young Girls, Business People, and Teens etc.

It is in a group you would learn to be “doers of the word” and not “hearers only”. James1:22

It is profitable and highly desirable to study the Bible alone. This is a very good way to have first contact with the Bible.

However, when you want to build certain relationship, it is important you meet other people ready to study the Bible with you.

With this kind of relationship comes your “hearing” and your “doing”.

In a group study, you will learn how to live as a member of a group. You would learn how to love as well as how to forgive other people.

This is possible only in a group. It is also in a group that you learn to “bear one another’s burden, and so fulfil the law of Christ” Galatians 6:2

This makes the group your spiritual family. As you study your Bible, you may have many unanswered questions. A group is a place to seek answers to your questions.

You will also find the opportunity to answer other member’s questions.

Here are Bible points:

• “Iron sharpeneth Iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” Proverbs 27:17

• “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” Ecclesiastes 4:9

According to Acts 2:42 a group study is a place for:

• Study – Apostles’ teaching,
• Fellowship
• Breaking of Bread and
• Prayer

You are almost sure to find close by you like minded people to associate with for the purpose of studying the Bible.

Find a group with common interest with you to study the Bible with. If there is no group near your home or your place of work, then start one.
