The Glory of Youth
What is the glory of youth?
"The glory of young men is their strength.."
Proverbs 20:29
The Bible says it is their strength. That is the main issue.
You can do nothing without strength or power. Yet the power that you need is the one that would attract people to you and not repel them.
The power of love binds stronger than anything.
It is a kind of power that increases with use and with time. It must be power you use for positive action. Remember all your actions or deeds come back to you greatly multiplied.
How will you use your youthful strength so that the people around would be seeking after you? People would certainly seek you out when you are valuable to them.
There are only two ways by which you could make yourself valuable:
• You must seek knowledge. Find out how to do something useful. And be ready and willing to go the extra mile to do a thorough job cheerfully.
• The other way is to develop the habit of going the extra mile to get other people to do a thorough job without complains.
You can combine both ways. But you must be willing to use your strength to go the extra mile to serve others. That will make you greatly valuable in your community.
You want to get wealth. That is a good thing. However, you must get it by giving something of value in exchange.
Use your strength to render useful service in your community. You know the rule for attaining success. Use it intelligently.
Make sure you get the riches you desire by rendering services that improve people or community life. Do it by going the extra mile.
Yes you need to be rich. Your riches will increase as you learn to do more than majority of people.
It will come when you are willing to render better services.
