Hence, if you want a peaceful happy life, you need to learn how to play the game of life. You discover how to make all areas of your life work.
The Main Rule of the Game
Life, however, is not a game of chance. It is a game with rules or laws guiding it. The entire Bible teaches the main rule of the game. So that you can play the game of life and win. For sure, when you learn and master the rule, your life and situations would change for the better. You may assume wrongly that life is nothing but war and conflict. But that is not true. Life is a game, like wrestling or football. For example, wrestling is nothing, but a game. Paul wrote: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places]. ~ Ephesians 6:12 Look again at what he said: "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of this world. On the contrary, they have the power to demolish strongholds." ~ 2 Corinthians 10:4 (NIV) You could see why you are not in any physical war or battle. Your life ought to be a game. However, every game has its rules. Just as no one can win a game without first mastering its rules, the same applies to the game of life: it cannot be played successfully without first mastering the rules. The game of life consists in sowing and reaping, giving and receiving. And the unchangeable rule of the game is this: “A man reaps what he sows.” ~ Galatians 6:7 (NIV) You reap what you sow. Whatever you send out in thought, word, or deed, shall come back to you. Whatever you give, you will receive. Therefore, if you want to receive peace, love, and joy, then you first start by giving peace, love and joy to those around you. If you want to be criticized or judged, do that first to others. There is a rule, that relates to the garden of this world. It is what you sow in the garden of your soul that springs forth and bears fruits of its kind all around you. So in your life, your surroundings and your situation, it is what you sow or allow into your heart, mind and body that affect you for good or for evil. You are in charge of your garden. Therefore, you are responsible for what you allow into your garden. Here is what the Bible says:
“Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it is the issues of life” ~ Proverbs 4:23 How to be a WinnerIf in your moment of devotion, you meditate daily on success, peace, joy, good health and abundance, you can be sure that the same will germinate and spring forth in your physical surroundings. Adam failed to properly dress and to keep the Garden of Eden. He refused the opportunity to participate actively in the creative process. But today, you are offered the opportunity to go back to school and learn how to tend your gardens and be part of the Almighty’s plan of creation. You may be wondering what steps to take if your garden is in ruin and full of weeds. Maybe your relations, friends, associates or even your own self have contributed to your trouble by planting in your garden bad and evil seeds. What happens if you suddenly wake up and discover your garden is full of nothing but weeds? You have the master’s word. Jesus said when men slept the enemy entered the garden and planted bad seeds. Matthew 13:24-25 You are unstoppable. So as in any garden, all you need to do is to deal with the bad seeds, regardless of who planted them. Even if your mouth or mind contains or cultivates negative words or thoughts, you must take action. Stop breeding negative and remove every weed from your garden. The truth is simple and clear. In the game of life, you can only temporarily delay the growth of a good seed. You cannot permanently prevent it. Equally true is the fact that you can only temporarily accelerate the growth of any evil seed. You can never spread it. Good will surely, albeit sometimes slowly, grow and fully manifest itself. But evil shall just as surely—and often without notice—lose strength and ultimately fade away. So heed the master’s word: Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. ~ Romans 12:21 What is Evil?
Here then is where the line is drawn: Any thought, word or action, which falls short of love, is evil. Therefore it holds within it the germ of its own predictable destruction. You will win in the game of life if in your private devotion, you would take charge of your imagination, take charge of your thoughts, watch the words that come out of your mouth and act consciously only in agreement with this truth.
