Friendship

Friendship means association. It means joining together through agreement. The Bible in James 4:4 says, when you are joined to worldly people, you are an enemy of God.

Therefore, those who want to associate with the world have turned themselves to be enemy of God. If you want to be a failure, the shortest and easiest way is to join yourself with the world.

The world means those who worship mammon, those who are servants of money and what money can buy. They are those whose god is their stomach, who mind earthly things.

The world means also the worldly people with their worldly methods of solving their problems. The world and the lust therein pass away. And soon are forgotten.

If you want to be an enemy of God, then do like everyone else. Use the methods of the world. This means to think, act and talk like worldly people. It is to adopt their mode of Live as your own.

• In Hosea 4:17, you are told that Ephraim joined himself to idols.

He was left alone, to struggle and fight life’s battle.

• Abraham decided to associate with God. James 2:23
• Enoch walked with God. Genesis 5:22-24

They were both richly blessed.

God is able to deliver you from all situations. He is able to supply all your needs. He cares for you.

If God is for you no one can be against you and succeed.

So be close to God. Walk in His ways and you will have a glorious success.
