Prepare for Extra Mile
You need to prepare for an extra mile. Do you want to overcome all obstacles to success? Yes you can. But you need to prepare your self in advance for additional miles.
That is why it is very important for you to make going the extra one mile your habit.
Here is how Jesus put this success formula:
“And whosoever shall compel three to go a mile, go with him twain” Matthew 5:41
Life challenges are coming your way. Therefore get extra fuel and get prepared before hand.
Either you like it or not people will compel you to go with them. Circumstances and business may get tougher than predicted.
You may need more time and effort to reach your set goal in life. Therefore prepare for it. Get your self ready in advance at least for an extra mile.
But you can make it. Learn from Jesus and prepare beforehand to do more than what is required of you to succeed in any field of endeavor.
Success is certain when you apply this principle. Try at all time to put extra oil in your lamp. Be ready to work more and better than majority of people.
The sure way to overcome a crisis is to prepare for it before it comes. You cannot start preparing for it when you are already nose to nose with the issue.
That is why you need to get extra fuel in your reservoir. Be ready to ride on the higher and rougher roads to success. Plan and be ready for a longer journey than most people.
Be ready at all times for people who will compel you to go one mile.
The surest way is to be ready to go even double. Get yourself ready to go an additional mile if need be.
People and situations could compel you to do more or hang on longer on your job. So be prepared in advance for emergency. It is a fact of life.
Prepare therefore to go two miles when all you are requested is just one.
This is a very practical principle in life. Life may not be all roses. Yet you could always get through even in difficult times. This is by making it your habit to do more and better job than the majority of people.
“If thou faint in the day of adversity, Thy strength is small.” Proverb 24:10
If you are slack in the day of distress, your strength is limited. So prepare with unlimited strength.
Prepare in advance for tough times. Be ready for troubles before they emerge. You cannot be slack in the day of distress. You need unlimited strength to cope with life’s troubles.
