There is no room for worry. The birds and animals never worry for their needs. God meet all their needs. You are not created to worry. You are not born with it. So you can do without it. Yet, human beings worry and are troubled for what God is more than ready and willing to give. You have to deal with worry to clear the way to receive your needs.
Worry will find no place in your life as you learn to pray
? You cannot bring it back or improve what has happened in it.
Why worry about the future? The future is not within your control. Worry only reduces your performance and upset your daily life and joy. It’s a burden which offers no relief.
When you worry, you simply leave your own job undone. You’re on another person’s seat trying to do a job you have no qualification, capacity or competence to handle. The issues involved are many. You don’t allow the person in charge to work. Of course you know no company or business concern would pay you for doing a useless job outside your schedule.
Nature also refuses to pay you in any positive sense when you’re overburdened with worry.
Steps to deal with worry
1. Identify Your Worry? If you want to deal with worry, the first step is to identify what you worry often about.
2. Make Your Worry List
Make your worry list. Why make a complete worry list? It is helpful. It makes your decisions firm and your prayers effective. You are sure of what you want and what you will be praying to accomplish.
3. Take Your Worry up in Prayer
Finally, now that you know the sources of your needless cares, you are in a better position to deal with them in your prayers
. You are better prepared to take suitable decisive action
to stop your unnecessary worry. With God, you can stop being worried from now.
And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. ~ Psalm 50:51
And ye shall call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. ~ Jeremiah 29:12
