The Law of Compound Interest
What the law of compound interest means.
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” John 9:4
To accept to go the extra mile is to labor now that you have the strength and zeal for it. And not just mere hard work. It is to accept to do more than the circumstance and situation demand.
You are willing to do more and better job than your contemporaries.
You are willing to render more and better service for which you are paid for.
But what is your reward for doing more. Let me remind you. When you render this type of selfless service, you may not always receive appropriate compensation from the person or company to whom you render the service.
But you can be sure of this. When you are willing to give cheerfully and abundantly, when you accept to sow your seeds at every occasion, your harvest will certainly come in consequence.
Your habit of going the extra mile will attract to you even greater financial benefits.
As you render better and more service than that which is required of you, as you give more than you are paid for, surely the law of compensation would repay you with compound Inerests for what you give:
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38
“In the morning SOW thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.” Ecclesiastes 11:6
You will like to receive compound interest on what you give. Hence you need to sow your seeds at all times.
Remember it is always better to give.
“And to remember the words of our Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 6:38
And when you give, you receive "manifold" in return:
"Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting."
Luke 18:30
